Linked to 100% Used Plant Oil via Mass Balance & Carbon Neutral Material

City by City, town by town, the UK is seeking to go fossil fuel free, part of a global movement to reduce emissions and meet climate change targets.

Our new VeriGreen Flexy-Glass® ranges are linked to 100% waste sunflower oil via mass balance, that is sourced primarily from used cooking oil.

The material which is linked to 100% Used Plant Oil* and carbon neutral significantly lowers greenhouse gas emissions compared to material made from fossil fuel-based feedstocks.

The carbon footprint on a case of 1000-pint VeriGreen Flexy-Glass® is reduced, saving 1485g CO₂.

This is confirmed by the LCA certificate supplied by TOTAL, the raw material producer.

It shows a -180% cradle to gate CO₂ saving compared to standard fossil fuel generated Polypropylene.
